How I spent my Holiday in Amsterdam
Through the holiday I got to see several of the wonders that Amsterdam offers. Having just gotten off the airplane I was .
After visiting the museum I headed to the city center to look around, perhaps do some shopping and get some good food.
I ’d herd many things about Amsterdam and merely thought that a lot of them were blow out of proportion, well I ’m here to tell you that they are all authentic. The very first thing that hits you is the strong odor of Bud, and then you begin to find out the nearly fully naked girls in the windows.
As if the prostitutes in the windows are not enough there are live sex shows and sex shops selling every conceivable sex toy known to man on every street, but this wasn’t what interested me.
Then as I continued walking around I started to see something besides weed, and nude females, I saw casinos.
The first one I went to was Video Gaming machines just, but they had video poker, video blackjack and Video Slot machines at the same time, I did not really do nicely her in this place so I only spent about an hour, and about 100 Euro, then left.
The following place I discovered was a nicer place. Unlike in New Jersey, in these casinos individuals are dressed up in their fine clothes instead of jeans, sneakers and T Shirts. This casino had genuine table games so I tried to play some Blackjack, but there was a player in the table that either had no thought on how to play or he was somehow involved in cheating with another player, but I’m inclined to think he simply did not really know how to play blackjack.
Therefore I started playing at the Roulette table, and I was doing extremely well, at one point I was up about 400 Euro before I started losing. Therefore I decided to leave this casino and go walking around for a short time.
The following day I found myself in a different casino, and I chose to see whether my luck was back, I visited a slot machine and put in certain money and on the next twist I won another 200 Euro, so feeling fortunate I decided to enter the poker room, and that is when things got really interesting.
After playing for about 5 hours I chose to really go outside and walk around a bit to extend my legs. I would up deciding to sit back and have a cup of coffee, but I did not understand the dissimilarity between coffee shop along with a caf?.
In Amsterdam a caf? is a place to sit down and have a coffee, but a coffee shop is a spot to buy and smoke Bud. Whilst I was sitting there drinking my coffee I noticed several people rolling joints. Now I’ve herd about this and I hade smelled tons of weed while I was there, but I failed to realize it was sold out in the open like this. Therefore I chose to buy some marijuana and check it out.
I visited the counter where I saw others purchasing their grass along with the guy behind the counter was really nice and showed me a menu of what they had for sale. I wound up buying a joint of white widow. The man supporting the counter told me his was very powerful material, but I was not prepared for this.
I managed to smoke about half the joint, before I was hit with this feeling. I’ve been a drinker for many years, but even within my college days I was never out of my head in this way.
Eventually I was able to move out of there and get some good clean air, plus some waffles. I decided, this was the time to back to the casino and win my cash back, and in the end I lost another 600 Euro, and wound up falling off my seat in the casino and needed to be helped out. So if you’re going to be going to Amsterdam, be cautious the grass is really powerful.
